Stub Matching

Single and Double stub matching:

When load impedance is not equal to the source impedance of the network there will be a reflection of signal from load to the source. So that there will be some reflected power to the source and power transmitted to the load will be less. Finally, circuit efficiency will be degraded. 
For the above stated problem, there is a solution to increase the efficiency called stub design. The stub is placed between the load and circuit. There are mainly two types of stub design.
1. Single Stub Design
2. Double Stub Design
